Welcome to LAM!
Currently, LAM offers two languages, English and Vietnamese. We hope to offer Korean in the near future. Our approach to picking up a language is based upon the language acquisition theory developed by Stephen Krashen, Ph.D. Additionally, we utilize the Story-Listening method developed by Dr. Beniko Mason, Ph.D. to enhance the learning experience. Dr. Stephen Krashen is a renowned linguist who has dedicated over 40 years in developing his language aquisition theories. His approach emphasizes the importance of comprehensible input and developing fluency and confidence in a new language through reading.
Dr. Beniko Mason is a leading developer in the field of foreign language education, with a particular focus in the use of story-listening, a learning method of language acquisition. Her customized story-listening method has been shown to be highly effective in helping learners develop their goals. At LAMinistry, we are proud to incorporate insights and expertise of these two educators into our language learning program.
